Delbert Knight, a Countrywide University (CU) graduate, is currently completing his MBA at Texas A&M.  He describes his experience at Countrywide University and offers advice to those considering entering the program:

Countrywide University has truly been an educational experience. While in the program, I really had to be efficient and concentrate on multitasking. The program is like a mortgage banking boot camp. Only the strong will survive, and your opportunities seem never-ending.

The program offered me an opportunity in pretty much any department of choice. We were trained and tested in every division of Countrywide. After completing all training assignments, I thought that the CMD Internet Department would best suit my needs and career objectives.

I would have to tell any future university student to work hard because they have been given an opportunity in life that can take them very far. Many individuals would love to be part of a program and company that actually cares for them not only as an employee, but also as a person. Countrywide cares and will open doors that can never be closed.

Since graduting from CU five and a half years ago, I have experienced a lot of success and gained a tremendous amount of knowledge. I was promoted to Team Lead, Branch Manager of The Employee Loan Unit & Qualified Assumptions Department, which had record years under my leadership, and am now a VP in Internet Sales. Due to the doors that were opened because of the Countrywide University program, I have become a master of opportunity and a dedicated Countrywide employee!
