Each CU training program begins with five to six weeks of intensive classroom training in Dallas, Texas. CU Associates will be exposed to curriculum including courses in Countrywide Home Loan’s culture and values, time management, loan basics, mortgage banking, competitor analysis, diversity, compliance, fair lending, multicultural markets, credit reporting, appraisal review, pricing, underwriting, loan processing, and quality control.
The classroom sessions are followed by four weeks of on-the-job training in participants' designated locations to help them prepare for a career with increasing rewards and responsibility. Upon successful completion of the program, CU graduates will be more prepared to make an immediate contribution to the team in one of Countrywide's many locations.
We currently train CU Sales Associates and CU Operations Associates for our Consumer Markets Division (CMD), Wholesale Lending Division (WLD) and Countywide's Full Spectrum® Lending Division (FSL).
