So we're in the business of removing as many obstacles as possible, and making the overall wholesale lending process run more smoothly and efficiently.

Perhaps our best-known innovation is our website, Countrywide Wholesale Business Channel®, www.cwbc.com. Launched in 1999, this powerful B2B site shifts the balance of power from direct lenders to our clients. Today, more than 95% of the Division's origination volume is sourced through www.cwbc.com.  This Wholesale Lending Division dedicated site is currently accessed by over 73,000 individual users who benefit from the following capabilities:

  • Pricing. Our Business Partners have access to current rates on demand – either by pulling the information from the website or by receiving a personalized rate sheet in their email inbox.
  • e-Pipeline. This provides the ability to submit and lock loans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Automated Underwriting. Broker Business Partners are able to obtain an underwriting decision and pull a credit report in minutes through e-ApproveSM.
  • Electronic Fee Sheets. Broker Business Partners can also electronically manage their fees and closing costs.
  • Loan Status. The status of all loans submitted to Countrywide is available at the touch of a button. 
  • Sales Support & Marketing Material. Countrywide offers a wide range of marketing materials designed to help target and communicate with potential and existing borrowers. Our robust library of materials allows our Account Executives to promote the products, programs and services that are relevant to their specific market. Additionally, Broker Business Partners can download and personalize materials directly to their PCs directly from our online loan submission engine, cwbc.com, for use when working with potential borrowers and realtors.
  • Program Guidelines. Clients can view and print Countrywide’s up-to-date loan product guides, and see the same guidelines our underwriters use.
  • Custom Rate Sheets. Clients can save and print personalized rate sheets, customized with add-ons.
  • LandSafe Credit & Appraisal.  Enables clients to support their customers with access to high quality, competitively priced online credit and appraisal services.
  • Training. To help customers keep in step with our latest technological advances and industry trends, we continually offer local Power Seminars and training events.
