Savoy Professional - Top 100 Companies for Diversity
Countrywide has been named one of the 2007 top 100 Companies for Diversity by Savoy Professional Magazine. Savoy Professional is a publication dedicated to black business professionals. The magazine focuses on African Americans in business and the ongoing increase in workplace diversity. (Fall 2007)

Asian Professional Exchange (APEX)
Countrywide is the recipient of "Excellence in Corporate Leadership" award. This premier membership organization, for Asian Pacific Americans in Southern California, has a strong commitment to excellence in professional development, community service and cultural awareness. (September 2007)

National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA)
Countrywide is the recipient of the "Corporate Partner of the Year" award for two consecutive years. Established in 1970, the NBMBAA is dedicated to developing partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual and economic wealth in the Black community. Countrywide has been the marquee sponsor of their Annual Joint Mixer held in Los Angeles for three consecutive years. The event brings together a number of reputable African American professional development organizations such as the National Association of Black Accountants and the National Society of Black Engineers. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the nation's largest advocacy group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Americans, is proud to provide Countrywide Financial Corp with its final rating of 100% for the 2008 Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work Survey. The Corporate Equality Index rates companies on a scale of 0 percent to 100 percent on several factors, including whether they have a written non-discrimination policy covering sexual orientation and gender identity and offer inclusive health insurance. LBA Mortgage Company of the Year
The Latin Builders Association (LBA) has named Countrywide the winner of its 2007 "Mortgage Company of the Year" award. The award recognizes Countrywide's ability to serve South Florida's diverse Hispanic population and the company's success in the region. (September 2007)
