To support our incredible growth and expansion plans as a Fortune 500 company, we will continue to market our career opportunities and services to members and friends of NABA. This year, Countrywide has attended, participated, and sponsored several local events in support of the Los Angeles and Dallas/Ft. Worth chapters. On a national level, Countrywide was a Silver level sponsor of the 35th Annual NABA National Conference and Diversity Career Expo held in June 2005 in Detroit, MI. With over 100 companies participating and over 2,000 registrants in attendance, the expo was a great success. Walter Smeichewiz, Senior Managing Director, Enterprise Risk Assessment, and a strong NABA supporter, welcomed all registrants during the conference membership luncheon.
To recruit and hire accounting professionals associated with the NABA Annual Conference and Career Expo, the College and Diversity Recruitment staff teamed up with the Countrywide’s Diversity Services Group and a host of hiring managers from business units across Countrywide’s family of companies. Participating Countrywide business units with career opportunities for qualified NABA members include: Enterprise Risk Assessment, Corporate Finance and Accounting division.
