Do I need to register on the site in order to apply for opportunities?
Yes, you will need to register and create a profile on our site. There are two methods of creating a profile;
1. If you are applying to a specific position, you will be taken through the process of creating a profile and asked questions specific to the job you are applying to.
2. If you have not identified a position of interest you may submit a general profile by selecting the Submit or Update your Profile for Future Opportunities button at the bottom of the Job Search Page.
How can I search for jobs and submit my resume for opportunities at Countrywide?
All current job opportunities that are available at Countrywide — from entry-level to senior management — can be found by going to the Job Search page and performing a search.
If appropriate positions are currently in the database, your search will result in a list of job titles. Simply click on a title to view the job description. To submit your resume for a particular job, click the Submit Resume link at the bottom of the job posting and complete the resume submittal form.

How can I be notified about new opportunities at Countrywide?
When you create your own personal profile, you will have the option to be notified of any new jobs posted in your area of interest. To enable this function check the box on page 5 of the candidate profile section next to the phrase, "please inform me by email, any career opportunities that match my profile". You may cancel this function by logging in to your profile and deselecting the box.

How does the interview process work?
There are generally two rounds of interviews. Typically, in the first round you will interview with the recruiter and hiring manager. In the second round of interviews you are likely to meet with more senior or extended members of the team you may be joining. Prior to the interview, you will be contacted through the email address you used to create your profile and asked to answer additional questions. Upon entering into the second round of interviews you will be contacted at the email address used to create your profile and asked to answer additional job specific questions.

Does Countrywide have part-time jobs available?
To find out if Countrywide currently has part-time jobs available, go to the Job Search page of our career site, enter "part-time" in the keyword search box and click search. You may also create a profile to receive an email notification when a part-time job is posted.

Is there someone I can talk to about a specific position?
Unfortunately, we are unable to speak with each person individually. To be considered, please submit your resume. If we think you may be a good candidate for the open position for which you submitted your resume, a recruiter will contact you to discuss the job in more detail.

Can I submit my resume via email, mail or fax?
The fastest, most effective way to be considered for employment at Countrywide is to submit your resume through our employment website. We no longer accept resumes via email, mail or fax. Countrywide will review your resume or profile through our online application process. You can apply to any of our open positions through our Countrywide career site or through any of the external job postings.

What happens to my resume after I submit it online?
You will receive an electronic acknowledgement of receipt and your resume will be included in our candidate tracking system. If you submitted your profile for a particular job, it will be reviewed by a recruiter to determine if your background is a match. If you submitted your profile but did not apply for a particular job, your resume will be added to the general candidate pool. For future job openings, Countrywide recruiters will be able to search for and locate your resume to determine if your background matches their job requirements.

What steps would I take to update my resume or contact information?
You can update your application information or profile by visiting the New and Returning User Login page. Enter your email and password to login and update your profile as needed.

What should I do if I forget my password?
If you are unsure of your password, please use the forgot password function to have your password sent to you via email.

What if I changed my email address since the last time I submitted my resume?
If you have changed your email address, we strongly encourage you to go into your current profile and update the email address in your existing profile rather than creating a new profile. You will need to use the original email address provided at the time you created your profile to log in.

Your profile will remain in our database indefinitely. You may return at anytime to update your profile by visiting the New and Returning User Login page

How soon will I hear back from Countrywide about the position that I expressed interest in?
After submitting your resume for a specific position you will receive an acknowledgment indicating that Countrywide has received your submission. Unfortunately, we are unable to speak with each individual. If we think your skills appear to match an open position, a recruiter will contact you to discuss the job in more detail.
